Charya Nritya Offering with Punya Sagara

We’re delighted to announce a special upcoming event with Punya Sagara, teacher and lineage holder of Charya Nritya, the sacred Buddhist dance tradition of Nepal.

Rooted in Vajray​āna Buddhism, Charya is a deeply meditative and symbolic form of movement. ​Naturally aligned with the elements, it weaves together physical gesture, visualization, music, and ritual to enhance our awareness and express the enlightened qualities of the deity. Transcending ordinary notions of performance or art, Charya Nritya is a spiritual practice in itself.

The event will be hosted by Kelly Tracey, KVP associate editor and Charya practitioner, who will open the session with a brief introduction to the offering practice and its expression through Charya. Punya Sagara will then offer the Sixteen Offering Goddesses Dance, followed by an explanation of the mudras and how they influence our body and subtle channels. The session will conclude with ​a​ brief Q&A.
