A Melody of Sublime, Everlasting Deathlessness

As part of our Text of the Month focus we held the follow-up tutorial on “A Melody of Sublime, Everlasting Deathlessness,” by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. This tutorial followed the recent teaching given for KVP by Lama Tsering Everest.

Structured around the ten-syllable mantra of Ārya Cintāmaṇicakra Tārā, the text brings Tārā’s enlightened qualities—her protection, compassion, wisdom, and charm—to life through vivid imagery and layered meanings.

KVP Research Coordinator Arne Schelling was joined by the translator team—Adam Kane, Dana Ming, and Nijeeta Jagtiani—for an in-depth exploration of the text’s language, structure, and context. The session included time for open Q&A and discussion.
