Tutorial on A Melody of Sublime, Everlasting Deathlessness

As part of our Text of the Month focus, and to celebrate the anniversary of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö on 1st July, we invite you to a follow-up tutorial on “A Melody of Sublime, Everlasting Deathlessness,” by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. This tutorial follows on from the recent teaching given for KVP by Lama Tsering Everest.

Structured around the ten-syllable mantra of Ārya Cintāmaṇicakra Tārā, this text evokes Tārā’s enlightened qualities—her protection, compassion, wisdom, and charm—through vivid imagery and layered meaning.

KVP Research coordinator Arne Schelling will be joined by the translator team—Adam Kane, Dana Ming, and Nijeeta Jagtiani—for an in-depth exploration of the text’s language, structure, and context. The session will include time for open Q&A and discussion.
