✨Verse to Music #5✨

We’re thrilled to announce our fifth KVP Verse to Music session—a creative celebration where Dharma verse meets contemporary artistic and musical expression. Musicians and artists from around the world will reimagine two invocations to Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava—the extraordinary tantric master who brought Vajrayana to Tibet.
Since Guru Rinpoche day also happens to fall on Halloween, October 31, our Verse to Music event will be a themed celebration of his powerful wrathful form, Tötreng Tsal—whose garland of skulls symbolizes the liberation of all sentient beings from saṃsāra. 💀
The event will include a discussion with participating musicians, with special guest appearances by Yantra de Vilder (a composer and sound artist specializing in film, TV, dance, and theatre), Cy Gorman (a sound designer, researcher, educator, and creative technologist), and Michaela Burger (an actress, singer, and writer, and recipient of a Frank Ford award). Other participating musicians include multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Yeshe Reiners, french singer-songwriter-producer & DJ jasmïn, and our own in-house translator and Padmaverse co-founder Christian Bernert.
Join us in your best Day of the Dead/Halloween costumes for the online premiere of these magical interpretations of prayers—through which we channel the non-conceptual creative energy of deathlessness!
