A Downpour of Siddhis: The Descent of Blessings

Today’s quote comes from KVP’s newest published text, “A Downpour of Siddhis: The Descent of Blessings.” This ritual text invokes the blessings of Padmasambhava, the Three Roots, and the Dharma protectors. It is from Terdak Lingpa’s treasure cycle, the Heart Essence of the Vidyādharas (Rigzdin Tugtik).

Terdak Lingpa (1646–1714) was the founder of the Mindröling lineage and a prominent visionary and treasure revealer. Khyentse Wangpo received the transmission of his entire treasure cycle at the age of twenty-one at Mindröling Monastery in Tibet and composed a short sādhana for the Rigdzin Tugtik.
