Kelly Tracey

Kelly encountered the Dharma in the early 1990s, when she had the great fortune to meet H.H. Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, the 41st Sakya Trizin for the first time. In the following years she met Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, and has been a devoted student ever since.
Over the years, Kelly has transcribed and edited various teachings of Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche and other Tibetan lamas. She is instrumental in event management and communications for Khyentse lineage Dharma events in Australia, and has served on the board of Lotus Outreach Australia as both secretary and fundraising director.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Dramatic Art from Melbourne University’s Victorian College of the Arts and a Master of Teaching from the University of New England. She worked as an actor in film, theater, and television for many years, co-founding an acclaimed ensemble theater company and performing at international festivals across Europe and Australia. Kelly currently lives with her teenage children in Sydney, Australia, teaching and joyfully immersing herself in the activities of Khyentse Vision Project. She devotes her spare time to dance.
