The Melody of Unceasing Deathlessness with Harry Einhorn and Yuhina

Our September Text of the Month is The Melody of Unceasing Deathlessness, the Uṣṇīṣavijayā lineage prayer from the Chimé Pagmé Nyingtik cycle, discovered by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo in 1855.

Uṣṇīṣavijayā is one of the three great deities who grants long life within this cycle. Her dhāraṇī is said to clear away the obstacles to lifeforce for ordinary beings and realized masters alike, and to close the door to lower rebirths for all who encounter it.

To connect with the blessings of the dhāraṇī, we invited multidisciplinary artist, Buddhist educator, and composer Harry Einhorn to lead our text of the month event in September. He will be joined by special guest Yuhina—a singer-songwriter from Gangtok whose immersive, vocal-centric performances weave Buddhist mantras and chants together with contemporary electronica.

Harry and Yuhina will lead us through the Uṣṇīṣavijayā dhāraṇī through voice, music, and visuals, followed by a guided meditation and Q&A.
